Learn Zentangle from Pam Vukelic, a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). Zentangle is a mindful practice that involves combining defined patterns into original works of art. Typically, Zentangle drawing is done using black ink on a small white paper “tile,” with shading and enhancements. The mindful process of drawing is the key factor in Zentangle, however, there are endless uses for the products you might create. We will draw on at least two tiles and you will go home with materials needed to create more.
Pam became a CZT in 2019 by attending a workshop taught by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the founders of Zentangle, in Providence, Rhode Island. Pam is a retired Family & Consumer Sciences teacher, who, until she learned Zentangle, was sure she was not an artist. She has taught scores of adult classes, primarily in needle arts and cooking. Her home is in Bismarck. She and her husband, Jim, spend several winter months in Florida.
