Rope Bowl Class with Sara Sunderlin | August 2, 2023

$55.00

Join us at the Nome Schoolhouse for a delightful and informative class on the art of bowl making using rope.

During the class, students will have the opportunity to create their own unique bowl and coaster, and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to continue crafting more projects independently. A variety of samples will be provided, offering inspiration and sparking creativity.

To enhance the experience, a delicious dinner (Chef’s Choice) will be included, providing an opportunity for participants to mingle and connect with fellow classmates.

In order to make the most of this class, it is important for participants to bring their own sewing machine capable of executing a zigzag stitch. The machine should be in good working condition, as assistance with machine operation will not be available during the class. Additionally, students are required to bring basic sewing supplies, including a denim (size 16) needle suitable for their machine, as well as white, ivory, or colored standard thread.

To facilitate the learning process, each student will receive a comprehensive kit that includes the necessary rope and a variety of fabric options to choose from. With these materials at hand, participants will be well-equipped to embark on their creative journey and successfully complete their projects.
