Our experienced instructors will guide you through four specific core skills: Spinning on A Wheel, Dyeing Fiber, Weaving, and Wet Felting. You’ll learn the techniques, get inspired by other fiber artists, and leave with a renewed passion for your craft. You will have two ways to enjoy classes – ala carte (choose just the ones you want) or attend all four for a full weekend of fiber! Not only will you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, but you’ll also have the chance to connect with like minded individuals who share your love of fiber arts. Wet Felting 3D: Enjoy the magic of wet felting where you can turn wool fibers into a solid cloth without needles, hooks or stitches. This project will be using a resist to create 3D felt. We will talk about how wet felting works, how to make a pattern, and some good fibers to use. Each student will have a completed project.
